Self-management issues

Efficient self-management of a health concern can be done when one has confidence in and knowledge of their emotions as well as what they are suffering from.

  • Anger - While excessive anger in itself is very unhealthy, it can further lead to other health problems like hypertension, high blood pressure and depression. Bringing anger under one’s control is easily doable though.
  • Social Anxiety - Social anxiety stems from a fear of being judged and evaluated by others which can lead to inadequacy, inferiority, self-consciousness, low self-esteem, embarrassment and/or depression.
  • Assertiveness - Too much assertiveness can come off as aggression while too little can come off as passiveness.
  • Impulsivity - Impulsivity is the tendency to act without adequate forethought about the consequences of said action.
